Founded in 2011, Moliabal was founded by Monica Masini who created the name using the first two letters of the names of hers and her three best friends: Licia, Abele & Alberto. Monica was inspired to create the first Italian line of luxury hair accessories when she was not able to find an Italian brand of hair accessories that excited her.

Handmade in Italy using the highest quality resin, Moliabal hair accessories are lightweight and comfortable. The line comes in many styles such as French pins, ponytail holders, combs and claws and featured materials such as silk, cotton, beads, crystals and chiffon. Moliabal has expanded its range of products to include clutch bags and beauty bags inspired by the iconic soft, light mesh fabric of the 80s.
